Adorable! Yay feta feta feta! Lol
I have no clue what a goat costs in USA

Starter local goats are $20
Upgraded local goats are $40-60
Full blooded Nubian buck - $500

F1 Doe $100 (50%)
F2 Doe $200 (75%)
F3 Doe $250 (88%)
F4 Doe $300 (94%)

The two we bought yesterday were definitley "upgrades" - one part boer, the other part oberashi but from our breeding standpoint their offspring to Caprino will be F1.

That puts our doe count at 5. We have Feta, Cabra, Murcia, "the brown goat" and "the brown goat's daughter"

The goal is to breed these guys with Caprino until we have 6 female F1s

Then repeat with new buck.

Had to break into the goat chat...... my girls first eggs!!!!!!!
400

Sorry. New chicken person :)
Please continue ;)

I think goat babies are my favorite. Seeing them jumping and playing warms my heart. I have six kids on the ground right now, many more to come. I have Nigerians and Myotonics, they are all fun!!

we have my dad's goats & sheep we take care of. Breeds honestly unknown. they are pretty & amusing. had four babies born in the last 3 weeks, and =) two more babies born today! my stepmom used to milk the goats and make cheese before she passed away, I haven't been brave enough, nor honestly can I make the time commitment =( although I do hope to get myself organized enough to do it in the future... I miss the fresh cheese!

Speaking of goats I'm getting excited, my two girls are starting to look nice and round! They are due anywhere from late march to early April. Hoping for some cute little babies and fresh milk
