Knock Kneed Hen - I think that your Mom's roo looks like a Faverolle. (I have nothing to back this up, other than he physically resembles the Salmon Faverolle I have here.) On the right is Frenchie with a couple of her Barred Rock friends:

Is there any covered space at the park we're meeting at? I'd hate to have all of our nice organic feed wet and nasty...

OMG - those Seramas are the cutest things EVER!

I saw the forecast too and it is likely it is going to rain.

I was scrambling since last night to look for an indoor or under cover place to move us to. I planned on calling around this afternoon when all the city's rec centers open to see if we can get a club meeting room at a park. I also have a 5 acre park nearby here in Santee with a covered picnic area I know we can use. I am pretty sure one way or another I can get something set up. - OR - I can also try to get our permit at Lake Murray changed for another date.

What do you all think?
Change date or change venue?

Rmember the feeds could also get wet during transport from the mill and during loading and unloading.

My vote is to change the date but majority rules.

There are small covered tables at Lake Murray, but few and far between. I vote for changing the date just for the shear fact that your feed and supplies are going to get wet just taking them out of the car, etc, like what was said before. But, I also heard on the news that Sunday may be OK and it's too soon to tell about that day, yet.

I usually work on Sundays, but I made arrangements to have this Sunday off, and work Saturday instead.....

A change of venue is fine with me, but if we change dates, a Saturday would work better for me, that is my usual day off.

Unless the mill have their own trucks, I would think long distant deliveries are done usually once a week or twice a month by contracted trucking companies.
