Thanks! I love those BRs; they are terrific layers.

The mystery bird is a Polish. She's really a pretty little thing... she belongs to my friend Karen. Here's a current picture of her:

In exciting news, I had two more start laying yesterday! One was for sure a Barred Rock, but who knows about the other one. The BR broke whatever egg was laid before hers (bummer), but it was a perfect little egg - yoke and all! I predict that I will soon be overrun with tasty eggs!

I'll actually be happy about a date change; I've lost all of my potential babysitters for Sunday.

It's supposed to snow at 2,000 ft in the mountains!! We'll see if it actually happens. It's cloudy, windy and drizzling outside. I just checked weather.com and it shows clouds with some sunshine...ummmm, no.

Cari, Hope your forklift guy has a place to store a pallet of feed if it's a downpour tomorrow!!

I don't think they are OEGB although similar nor are they serama. The white earlobes and body type seem dutch. Here is an example from http://woodcottagebantams.webs.com/dutchbantambreedstandards.htm

Tiegerrrrrrrlilly ,This bird is dead on!! dfdesigns , I'm pretty sure too now that the roos have a lot of Faverolle in them, if not all. Thanks! I know nothing about either of these breeds and wouldn't have thought to look up either of them.

That Faverolle you have is sure pretty. One more thing to want!
