Good question. I seem to remember a thread somewhere here where someone built a chicken door and hooked it up to their home controls which happen to be on the web so they can turn lights on and off from their phone. That end may be a bit more tricky.

Cara, these Seramas are very hansome. You say you are getting eggs from yours that should be similar to these guys?

Here's a pic of the little chick I got from Cara. I know some of you saw me carrying her around all day Sunday.

She is 2.8 oz today! And I believe about 6.5 weeks old. Everybody here just loves her, even DH. She's very fluffy, and such a snugglebug.

And Cara, I want to be on the waiting list for baby cocopops !!

Her hatch date is 01/15/2011. I am glad you like the little one, she is definetly one if the best from last hatch. The only other one I have that is near her is a little mottled roo, LIKE i need BOYS!! oh well, i have a big grow out pen they can free range a bit in.
The cocopops are doing well, i am getting eggs from my trio and my other happy cupple. I cant believe it they landed yesterday and eggs already.
They think mealworms are snakes and run from them at the moment. I am trying to make friends but they are still kinda jumpey.. My one hen that i kept from my previous seramas and lays itty bitty eggs is becoming broody, so i will probably let her sit on like 8 cocopop eggs, and see what happens;), My incubater is being borrowed by a friend at the moment, and i have 6 guinnea hen eggs in it my self.
I also heard that wer are getting snow!! SO I just re did the serama pens with heat lamps, Just checked it and it is nice and toasty in there.
