I was deciding what to do w/ my Buff Rock Broody, give her eggs or not. Then yesterday I see her sister being broody so I got 2 too.

Those seramas are ridiculously cute...

I finally got myself some of Glenn's coffee! (I don't drink the stuff, but my hubby will love it.) Thank you Glenn, and thank you Anke for getting me re-supplied with worms. The chicks are so happy!

Yup I am enjoying that same coffee also !
Anke did you get your aloe vera ? I can not remember who was suppose to deliver it. Sure hope that it is not in the back of a truck drying out.

LAseramas KP Is that a light brahma that I see with the chicks surrounding her ? Seramas are so cute but I think they are a little to delicate for the high desert area. The frequent wind will blow tham away.

Congratulations! I am up to day 10 here. Started with 6 eggs and one broke. She is still sitting on the remaining 5. I did try to candle them on night 7, but wasn't really sure what I was or wasn't seeing. I may try again this evening. I have the broody in a rabbit hutch in the enclosed pen. When (or if) anything hatches, do I move the broody and the babies? Do they stay in the hutch or do I move them into the garage? I would prefer to leave them outside as my rabbit goes in the garage at night.
