Hey SAn Diego!! been a while, i have been super busy planing a show!! Serama show, June 4 at collier park in ramona, where we had out first meet up!! i have venders coming from star milling and KIng feed, we will have a chicken sale area and a bbq guy and people coming to show from all over, i hear we might have a guest from FLorida. I would love it if some of you came as well. any excuse to get together, I am also looking for great raffle items for the raffle table, I know we have lots of talented san diego chicken people , so if you can donate a goodie to the table please Pm me by 6.2.2011...

2 tickets to barona, casino buffet

dried mealworms from randal berkey
egg turnersand other stuff i cant remember off the topp of my head

Also, I just realized that I am getting low on feed too so let me know if there's another MM order happening anytime soon or Cari if you have any bags of the MM layer pellets you'd be willing to sell me? 2 of my 3 (extremely illegal) girls have just started to lay and are HUNGRY all the time.

Does anyone know when exactly that law was written? The deed on our 1950's house says that chickens may be kept but not for commercial purposes - don't know if that would matter or not against a law but it might? We're just trying to keep them under the radar for now so that they don't end up as fugitives!

We should plan another San Diego meet-up... how does June sound for everyone? We can do a Saturday since I will be out of school.


I'll have to see if we have enough people to do another MM order, as we would have to get a whole pallet of 50 bags. WHEN we order we should stock up so we don't have to make the orders so often.

I do have an extra bag or two if anyone NEEDS to buy it right away.

Hi everyone!
Saturday June 4th is the Serama show at Collier Park in Ramona that everyone is welcome to come to and meet up. If we plan a separate meetup we should make it for another weekend later in June since alot of us will be going to that one. That way we can possibly make it to both.
I'm all for a separate meetup in June if you guys want it but we should probably try not to interfere with the Serama show since a bunch of our group are preparing for that (ie. Chef Glenn, Cara, Sunny, me, Coastal, AllAmerican etc. ).
If we have one around here again (Lake Murray) on another weekend - I can handle setup and cleanup. I am finally getting some free time, and would love to catch up with you all.

Any weekend in June is great for me! Cari - if you want to start taking orders, I'll take 5 bags of lay crumble, as that will last me 3-4 months. If you think I should get more to last me longer, let me know!

I have several milling companies coming to the Serama show, i would highly reccommend coming to the show and speaking to them about a correct diet for the chickens you have. King feed will be there, THEY ARE THE BEST.
