This probably sounds weird, but I was overload with eggs at one point, and didn't have many other ingredients in the house, and I made Baked Potatoes Benedict.... LOL. Baked potato, butter, chopped sauteed ham, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. MMMmmmmm

You get real creative when you don't feel like going grocery shopping!!

I'm bringing quail and chicken eggs for eating. Also jam and some other stuff for sale or trade. I also have one female delaware mixed chick for sale and one really beat up pullet. She is only 5 months old, and just started laying, and out of all 80 of my chickens she is the ONLY one beat up. I'd like to sell her to a quiet home with no roosters if possible, she just has a very submissive type of personality.

Or line a pie tin with Crescent dough from those Pilsbury Crescent roll tins.... Scramble up about ten bantam eggs add cheese spinach and ham..... and make Quiche.... 3 bantam eggs equal 2 large fowl eggs FWIW.

When my Guineas start laying I am thinking lots and lots of pound cake recipes and such. Their eggs are mostly yolk. Guineas do all their laying between feb to July No crossing fingers here to find out how many out of 40 are female..... So far I have only one.

I am STARVING, and all you guys are doing is talking about FOOD!

I have got to figure out a way to make it Sunday... I may be shoving my houseguests out the door!

My husband made his first batch of plum jam, and I think it is excellent. We ran out of cane sugar, so this is made with organic brown sugar... the molasses gives it a nice flavor. I could bring some of that, bunch of fresh organic plums, pomelos, lemons, and Lord knows what else. I guess I could bring the puppy, too!

I could use some canning jars if there's extra. Feta sounds yummy, too!

Renee - I might be in for some goat milk. I'd like to see if my little guy likes it; can we do maybe a gallon to start?

Cari - sorry about your poor pullet. I had two here that were extra submissive, and are just now starting to grow some feathers back post-rooster.

EVERYONE-we need 2 leg bands for jareds 4h here in ramona.we have 2 but they look so huge on them even though they are for bantems.
ib be more then happy to pay you for them.
one is for a serama and one for a modern.

I have some leg bands I bought for the serama show. They were a little big too, but they worked if you'd like to try them I can bring you a couple.

I'd love some homemade jam too if Cari or Chaili could spare some. I'll be bringing some stuff to trade, or maybe I can buy some.
