sounds like a few of you are making some tasty jams. we just made some apricot jam with fruit from our neighbor's tree that hangs over our yard (yay - free fruit!). i don't think we have enough to sell, but i'll ask my DF if he is willing to trade some. we could buy some jars if there are any left. oh and feta!? yum!

also, not sure if it fits in, but i make beaded jewelry and could bring some if anyone is interested.

Renee: PM send about the goat milk. And I would also love to try your Feta. Want to make some myself, too. The Chevre I made from the milk I got from you last week is soooooo good and gets better every day it ripens. But I am not strong willed

enough to let it ripen, because it is already so yummie.....

Part of my grieving therpy,
we lost or blue andilusion last night.she was acting broody and was nesting in the barn for a good part of the afternoon.I forgot to lock her up when we went to bed.came out this morning to feed and found her.
I hate those types.ones that can be prevented.she was such a charactor.
forgot all about her acting broody and never thought to check to see if she made it into the coop.

we are having a funeral today for her.

neededd to get it off my chest.
