Does the park in Ramona have a covered area w/ picnic tables?

With this weather, who knows what we will get. I think a back up plan w/ a covered area is needed.

I don't know about those ducks I heard the Campells are good layers. I have one felmale duck, I am not sure if she is a white Campell or a Pekin but she had been laying one egg a day non stop for months now but I am not sure how good my drake is.

This is too funny. I'm sure I'll have 2 more to make today, so that my other young'uns can come out of the bathtub and play.

I googled "How to make Chicken Diapers" and came across a blog, and a youtube video on how to make them. I've been following those instructions. I don't need aprons yet, just diapers so far. What size is your chicken? If I can improve my sewing technique, I'll make you one!

I have a little tailoring to do on my prototype, when I get the fit right, I'll post a picture of my little SLW pullet in her new duds. Just don't look at my stitching! My sewing machine stinks.

Oh, and BTW, check out my little OEG roo!

Escondido 4H website

I emailed a cute picture to the 4H leader that we got him from, and she put him on the homepage! I also submitted it to BYC picture of the week, we'll see if they use it. My daughter took the picture. I thought it was a great way to make that little roo feel like a big guy.

The Ramona park looks so pretty to this "desert girl" GREEN !!!!! Enough rain already. This rain is nice but we are ready for a change. Most So Ca peeps are used to sunshine.

I'll bring silverware & napkins.

I'm on ski vacation right now, and it's the first time my neighbor's watching the chickens. I guess it's been stormy at home, so they're staying inside the coop all day.

See you!
