Oh no, sorry to hear that, Cari. Let me know if you need anything (besides a job, that is).

Where in Fallbrook do you live?? I grew up there. Moved there in 1977, went to school in Fallbrook/Bonsall districts. Most of my childhood was spent in the Gird Road area. I'm in Escondido now, but my kids play soccer in Fallbrook. My mom is a coach, and on the BOD of the soccer league. So I drive.....

I moved to Fallbrook from the bay area about six months ago and just last week moved into the house we just bought. We are on Quail Knoll Rd, near the Hawthorne Country Store. I love it so far. My husband and I were trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and we definitely found some peace here. DH is more familiar with the area, having lived in Fallbrook for a few years as a teen.

I hope I don't move for a very long time

Sunny, How is your chick doing? I know how difficult it is to hatch eggs. I have had hatches like that with only 1 hatching. I have had to play god and it is a horrible feeling. I am praying for the little guy.

I am about to do my MM order. As some as you may know, my chickens are picky about their food. I have been feeding them leftovers from the garden and trying to give them as much greens as possible. I have so many now that it is becoming more difficult. I read about the rabbit pellets and there was some leftover from my lone bunny and the chickens would not touch it.

For those of you that feed Alfalfa to the chickens, do they like it? Mine do not like pellets much, well not at all so would I have to soak it? Sorry about all of the questions. Just want to make sure before I order.

Thanks,

Nancy

So sorry to read this, Cari. I'm in the same boat with you and Deb. My division got closed 10 months after I moved here and I've been unemployed for over a year. Anyone need any help (or know anyone who needs any help) with intellectual property licensing / protection or contract admin / management, just let me know...

Mine love it when I throw a flake of hay in there and they can scratch around and peck 'till their hearts content. They eat all but the hard woody stems... You could always try some actual hay before the pellets since you already know they don't like pellets.
