San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I now have some space for a few olive eggers. Does anyone have some pullets? Or fertile eggs that are sex link? I have a broody hen right now I could put to good use. Or I could put some in my incubator.

Unfortunately I can't come to the meetup, it is my husbands birthday.... anything I mention about chickens gets the eye roll so I am assuming going to a chicken meetup is not on his list of birthday activities.

Unfortunately I can't spare any right now, all I have are replacement breeder stock, but next year I will have chicks and hatching eggs available. I think AllAmericanChick has some Olive Eggers, pm her!

I also don't want to part with any of my OE pullets quite yet, but I have fertile eggs. I have both French Black Copper and Cuckoo Marans covered by a very nice Black Am roo, but only the Cuckoo's chicks are sexable at hatch. Let me know if you're interested in any of them.

no i dont have OE i do have welsummer eggs now and chicks to hatch here real soon.they lay the terra cotta colored eggs and the chicks I mentioned before or a bunch of barnyard mixes.

I so know what you are saying.

I have some chicks but they are unsexed. I just need to ID them. They would be Olive egger or wheaten maran x cream legbar.

I have Marans eggs that are fertilized by a Wheaten Ameraucana roo so the babies that will hatch will lay green/ olive eggs.

We will be there! I am so excited as this will be our second chicken meetup. Also not to mention that hubby just had the brilliant idea to turn one of our horse trailers into a chicken coop!! I will finally have more that one Serama chicken. :) The excitment may be to much for me. ;)

We will also be bringing our soaps, flaxseed hot/cold pillows and home-made jams and jellies.

Can't wait to see you all!
