I am desperately looking for a home for a sweet bantam modern game/cochin mix. He's a year old, really attentive to his ladies (likes to get his groove on, but is devoted to finding them food and keeping watch). I call him a pocket roo, as he's smaller than the other bantams I have. He's a mutt and obviously not in high demand, but he is used to being handled and has never shown aggression to people.

I have until this next Weds. to find him somewhere.

My neighbors suck. He's less noisy than the barking dogs in my neighborhood.

I don't have a permanent spot for another roo, but if you need a place for him to be while you keep looking, he can hang out here for a bit. I'm in Vista.

It looks like the 9th is a slightly better date for folks, so the 9th it is. We'll say 10:00 am until 2:00 or so. PM me and I will send you my address and directions.

I am thinking that we can just use my yard as a park area and meet up, share some food, and talk chickens there. I have a few tables and chairs and an easy-up that I will have set up. There is plenty of space and plenty of parking.

Is anyone interested in having contests/raffles?

Hopefully the grass will be a little more grown in by the 9th...

:ya RyeRanch!!! I'm putting the date on my calendar now!!

If you decide to do a contest or raffle I have a couple of things I can donate for prizes.
How about a potato salad contest, with plenty to share for lunch? I'd be in for that!
Just let me know what you decide. Thanks for taking it on!! :clap :clap

That's great! I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Others have offered raffle prizes as well - so let's have a raffle. Does anyone have a roll of raffle tickets they wouldn't mind bringing.

I will PM you with the address.
