On another note, anyone need a black silkie mix roo? I am organizing my peeps, bringing in new roosters, and have two...keeping one. He is pictured in my album, the more colorful of the two boys. Free to good home

My chickens are fulfilling their role as my therapy these days. Just found out stepmom's cancer is back. First rush chemo today. Rough days ahead. My peeps soothe me..

in the socal thread I posted my shopping list - its identical to yours!

As I have an addiction to hatching, how about I kick one of the breeds off our lists and let you raise them. When I need eggs to take back to the Philippines, I will get them from you. RIRs prolly start laying the fastest so If I get some hatched by the end of feb, I should be able to get next generations eggs by memorial day. How's that sound?
