San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Pictures are up! The easiest thing I could think of was to put them on my farm's Facebook page, which is public. (You don't have to be on Facebook or be my friend to see these.) I would have posted them here, but there are 81 photos...

It was a fun time for me also and I am so happy to have made the looog drive to see every one. Kristen, I keep thinking that I should have brought home a half dozen Legbars but this entire job of relocation is just so crazy. I have soooo much stuff to move after all I have four big interests and collect for all of them. How to move a farm and studio 500 miles. The title of my adventure.

You are all welcome to come and camp out at my place half way between THE GRAND CANYON and the PAINTED DESERT and don't forget THE NAVAJO NATION.
California is beautiful and so is the entire big old country.

Thank you SO MUCH Dana and Allison! Those pictures are fantastic! Everybody seemed relax and content... What a great day! I just wish you were in the pics Dana! Next time we gotta make turns.

When I saw Dana taking pictures, I almost forgot to use my camera because I said "Why bother" but actually I was busy visiting. DANA YOUR PICTURES ARE WONDERFUL !

Kids roosting on the highest spot !

But I took a few anyway.

Has anyone thought about organizing a SD coop tour? I know we are spread out through out the county, but it might be educational and fun. Just a thought...
I would love to if I werent tied to my dang walker getting in and out of places. My place would be an excellent spot for a meetup but its tooo far away.... from Everyone. Sixty miles east out in the desert from El Cajon.
