Arggghhhhhh!!!! It seems like the fates DO NOT want me to get to any of our meet-ups! I have to attend a academic honors society event Sunday afternoon, so I won't be able to go! Errrrr!!!! And I have tons of stuff I wanted to sell. Darn.

I finally had some time to take some pictures of my new goats playing in the playset that Aumlet kindly gave us. They love it... So thank you so much.

Went to the feed store to buy some feed, come home with feed plus 2 turkeys, one white one bronze........

. What does one do with turkey eggs? I am actually hoping for a tom and a hen so I can hatch the eggs but if not ?????

It is a lot of work though! Two of them are bottle fed and I spend my week trying to find enough fresh goat milk for them. And it is so expensive! But very rewarding! My blue eyes girl is weaned and what a difference with the two others. She is very shy and wild, but we are working on it.

I also wanted to share with you the only little chick from Elektra who died last week (the girl from my avatar). I have one more egg to hatch from her so

i so wish i could report success with elektras eggs. mrs oz was devestated when she had the responsibility of keeping elektra alive throgh her chicks - buy it was not to be on our side of the world.

You can cook with them I hear they are good for baking. Plus crafters use the shells for making stuff. I have seen them carved like the most delecate filagree... http://lujs.tripod.com/eggers/eggs-pg5.html
