San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Is anyone looking to rehome their Amerucana Roo? I have to put mine down as he has a leg deformity and I don't want that being passed on to any chicks.

How big do they get? How do they do with big chickens? and What color?

They are a bit smaller than my full size Ameraucana hen and larger than my d'Uccles.... If you need me to weigh one, let me know. Or I can take a picture with them next to a bucket or something :) Should do fine with any other chickens.

I need to find homes for the above bantam roos, but I also have too many Serama boys. They scored upper 70's in prospect and cockerel classes and are only getting better. I am asking $35. each. Or $50 for two. I have three good ones and a cute guy that has a crooked tail for free. So far they all get along good. They were raised together and are in the same pen.

I have to rehome my chickens due to a new/temporary job assignment. I have a Jill-Rees cream legbar trio that I got directly from Greenfire Farms this past January. They were shipped to me on 15 Jan 2016. The hens started laying a month ago. They are beautiful, and the rooster is very protective of his hens yet gentle. If you are interested, please PM me with an offer. Can provide pictures if interested. The rooster currently wears a collar so he may be kept in an urban setting without annoying neighbors.
