It's very wet here, but no ones flooded thank goodness.

We've got 3" in the last two days here.

My chickens are growing "bills" and webbed feet. They looked pretty angry this morning.

FINALLY! The rain has stopped here. I hope we can dry out a bit before the next one? My dogs are going stir crazy and the poor chickens have not been out in days now.

While I am stuck at home I was thinking of goodies for the meet up. Can you guys just give me a quick wave if you have dogs? I am going to bring some treats for the dog owners or people owned by dogs.

Just want to make sure I bring enough.

Knock Kneed Hen: If Enzolove passes on the Buff, I may be interested in both. I lost a BO as a few day old and only have 1 left and I have been doing pairs. Also, only have 1 RIR. Anyways, you can pm me the details.

Rain has stopped!!! Man, I just don't know how Noah did it on that boat, with his family, and all those animals for 40 days! Six days of kids, dogs, and chickens, and I'm about ready to jump ship! LOL.

My plan for tomorrow is to wake up xtra early, and let my big hens out for a stretch before I have to go to work. Yay! I get to go to work!! I work outdoors, so rainy days are unpaid, stay home days.

Knock Kneed- I'll ask my mother in law if she'd like any of the leghorns. She is beginning to have some chicken tendencies, but has yet to take the big step. If they are instant egg layers, she might take the bait.

Edit: I think Noah was on that boat longer than 40 days, now that I think about it....

It only rained that long if I remember correctly...

Has anyone had a chance to visit Namaste Farms in Temecula? Here's a link http://www.namastefarms.com/index.html

I had bought a few pullets that ended up getting infected with Coryza from another set of pullets I had purchased from
someone locally. Natalie at Namaste Farms insisted I bring them back and she refunded me every cent. I didn't go back
when I purchased the second time around...it was just easier for me to order from the local feed store.

Anyhow, she has some beautiful birds. It's worth stopping by just to see all that she has.

It is so COLD though. I gave in and took my 4 dogs for a walk. They were all naughty tonight but I do not blame them. They have been cooped up for at least a week now. Now for me to have a hot bath and some tea and relax.

You did not need to. I already have you down. You actually know what it is that I will be bringing.

Come on folks! I have met alot of dogs in my life and it has only been refused ONCE. My friend's Maltese did not want it but I found out later that she does not have many teeth left.

I just need a rough number.
