Miss Lilly, I chip in by buying the blue hen or chick ($$ ?)plus maybe I can find a single lilly for you. Do you want a plant ? I will need to dig it up special since my lilies are mostly potted and this is my year to do only Iris.

I just saw the thread on the feed crisis. I am so sorry I couldn't help (work all day). I am in El Cajon area. Is it easier for you if I pick up my order from your place or wait until Sunday? I can also help transport Sunday if needed.

OMG. One of my brown leghorns laid the biggest egg I have ever seen today. My three leghorns have been laying for about three months and consistently average almost an egg a day each, always large and perfect....then I got this one. Isn't that crazy? Maybe the rain is making the girls eat too much or something.

OUCH!! that is like a dino egg!!! Hey chicken people, i found an add on CL for incubators in ramona, like industrial ones. Looks fun. dangerous for me. I think i would have 12 seramas to match that dino egg. for the meet up swap i will have serama eggs from my birds. as well as around 12 sub adults from my vet friend max, he wants them to find good homes. i dont really know what he is asking yet, probably wants to cover feed cost. Also i will have i think 5 quality 2 month old chicks. for those who use chicken math a serama weighs average 12oz so it takes 6 serama to =i RIR and 4 serama to = 1 OEGB probably like 15 to = one peafowl and so on!!

My Delaware pullet lays some of those every now and then. Maybe this is already one for your Easter decoration....., just a thought.....
