Can we make sure it is somewhere near the parking lot, so I can set-up everything of mine right outside the tailgate of the truck? I don't want to leave the feed in the truck whilst I go off looking for everyone.

My hair is turning very gray and I am not planning on coloring it for at least another week, so I can see why someone wouldn't want me to take their picture.

I will bring chocolate chip cookies tomorrow if I come. Please don't be disappointed if I don't come, but I'm very likely to be there. I may ride in on my bike or I will be there doing my "bird walk" and checking on all the animals to see how they fared in the rain.

I was planning on taking a few photos of the overall set-up and activity of the group, perhaps some of the items or animals that are brought. If I'm there longer, maybe a group shot. I may post one or two photos on my Examiner article, but it will most likely be the overview or a photo of an item, not an individual.

Yesterday, I was there and there was practically no one at all. I forgot to bring food and those poor ducks ran up to me and begged me nearly to death.

That's too bad that you cannot come. Maybe next time.

Let me know if you cannot find the Red Star. I may be able to help. I MAY let a few go so I can get others. I am undecided right now. They are not laying yet but should next month.

Good Luck!

I know there will be LOTS to buy tomorrow. Just wanted to throw it out there. I am looking to re-home 3 Welsummer Pullets. They were hatched on Oct. 29th and they are from Privett's Hatchery. They are all healthy and should be laying soon. I should have done more research, I like VERY friendly chickens and they are more aloof than I like. They can be handled but they are NOT lap chickens. I will not bring them for the 2hour ride if there is not any interest. I would hate to stress them out.

It is the time of the year, so I was wondering if anybody would be interested in an incubator. I do have a Hovabator 1610 with circulated air fan and automatic egg turner which I might want to sell if anybody is interested. According to my husband and the abundance of chickens in my backyard it has worked way too well for me......

. If anybody is interested I will bring it and you can make me an offer.

Nancy, thanks I'll take one when and if you decide to let one go. There's no hurry. I just love my little red star and she lays big eggs. My EE is not real nice, kind of bossy. But we love her!
Just keep me in mind!

HA! I am going to have to mortgage my house to pay you.

I will email you. I have been looking for something to just hatch in. This may be the ticket.

If somebody takes my two (FREE) roosters, I could then come back home with a couple of Welsummers...

You people are enablers, you know?

I'm going to the store, and I think I'm bringing crock pot meatballs.
