Hello, I know some of you have been dying to see my new seramas, I finally got comfortable to take some pics of them yesterday!! The first one I call shorty is the corrcet cocopop color, this is what i am going for, the second Rooster actually came from two cocopop parents and he had thrown a few cocopops at his breeders home in florida, he is a very correct bird.

I think they are just amazing little birds, rea really love the character on these ones!!

Beauties Cara!! I can't wait to see babies!!

Speaking of babies..... I brought home 8- 2day olds from the science fair yesterday (Barred Rocks, and Buff Orps). Its so fun to have babies in the brooder!! I'm planning on just raising them to sell later, but the raising part is the most fun for me. So far, none of the eggs I got from Cari, Jacob, or Cara have hatched. I didn't have any control of the incubator, so I couldn't tell you what happened there. There may still be a chance.... if so, then I guess more babies for me!!

Aww! None hatched!??! I know mine and the eggs I gave Miriam did, so there must be something up with the incubator! Darn!

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely sure the eggs i got from you were perfect. I'm certain its the incubator. Maybe the teacher miscalculated the starting date, I don't know. She did think there were some good ones when she checked them about a week ago.

Sorry if my choice of words made it sound otherwise. I'm having a "post slumber party" hangover (of the non-alcoholic type).

My 9 yr old had all her friends over last night for her birthday, and I was up all night with endless chatter and giggles, then they started in again this morning bright and early! My brain is not functioning well today.

My new chicks are home! And I want to give a big thanks to Cari for bring them to life, they were headed for the breakfast table a few weeks ago.
