San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I just wanted to say Hi to you San Diego folks. My hubs and I will be moving to Fallbrook in less than two weeks. We're looking for more land and a slower way of living than the Bay Area can offer us. We have 2 hens and 7 2-week old chicks at this point. I hope to get to know you all better.

Is this the most active San Diego thread?

I BLEW IT!! My good friend asked me to babysit. I check my calendar and had the day open. Only afterwards did I realize that I had planned to go to Cari's that day but never wrote it down. I can't cancel out on her but don't think bringing a bunch of kids including a baby is going to work out for me. STINKS!!! I'm sorry Cari. I so wanted to come.
