San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Cari,

Oct 9th Sunday works for me.

Cara,

I have a Shamo Pullet (she is only 12" tall so far) and she is near and dear to my heart, she can cover a LOT of ground in a hurry,
gets along well with all my birds, comes to me when I call her, and follows me around. REALLY loves nectarines.

A certain Serama rooster thinks she is his gal..well for now she is I guess....they are inseparable.
Her name is Nagai, which means "long" in Japanese, her full name is Nagai Nashi which means "long legged" in Japanese.
I know..I'm ..well...anyway, I thought why lose the language after 6 years in Japan 35 yrs ago,
so I speak Japanese to my Shamo! Good Luck with Baby Huey!

I have some plum jam left from the last meet-up for sale.

Oh and yeah, I just don't have a coop for them, can they go with the turkeys? How big are they?

Thanks!
