Gosh it has gone very quiet here.
What is up???

2 people have asked me for information.
The first:
Does anyone know of someone who is licensed and insured to process turkeys?
Also does anyone need some nice roos (Gotta ask) these are BCM and ameraucanas/blue eggers.

The second:
A friend of mine is having to let ALL her pet chickens go. This is very sad. These are pampered ladies and she would like them to go to a good home. They are very nice birds, - can't remember all the breeds, but some are cochins, including a mille fleur.

I sometimes preview my posts then somehow forget to post them. Well, it was all about converting a travel trailer into a coop. Hoping to pick up a cute little trailer tomorrow 'cause I can't nail to save my life!!

How many chickies now????

Of the five in lockdown;

Three ended up hatching, one was a medium quitter and one was a late quitter.

I don't know if the third one will be ok though, she has a crooked neck.

Bummer it was such a crummy hatch for you, the air cells were pretty scrambled and I'm betting they had a tough ride here.

Hopefully this will be trio for you...

What does it mean, medium and later quitters? They didn't develop or they died during the process of hatching? Geesh!! I'm
putting up a new coop for 2 birds? **sigh** These are some expensive birds.
