I just want to let everyone in San Diego that might be looking for goslings this spring know that I should have Cotton Patch Goslings ready at the end of March/beginning of April. If you don't know about the Cotton Patch Goose, its a landrace weeder goose known for it's gentle temperment. If you have kids, this is the goose for you, because they are very gentle and non-agressive. Even my geese that are on nests and their ganders have not bitten me this season, they just honk and hiss at me. Cotton Patch geese are an autosexing breed - males and females are distinguishable at birth. Males are white and females are grey and white. Both males and females should have blue eyes and pink bills and feet. The ALBC website has this info on the breed if you want to learn more: http://albc-usa.org/cpl/waterfowl/cottonpatch.html Anyone who wants some babies, pm to reserve - I prefer to sell in pairs or trios only as geese are social and the breed population of pure Cotton Patches needs to be increased. PM me for info or to reserve your goslings. Reservations require a 50% down payment to my paypal, refundable if I have a failed hatch/run out of goslings to fill orders. Orders will be filled in order that they are received, so to make sure you get your goslings, you will want to get on the waiting list as soon as possible. This year I am expecting between 12-16 goslings, so the numbers are very limited. Here are some pics of my stock which I got from Serina Harvey who took over Tom Walker's flock.
