I forgot to ask earlier. I was on my last MM Chick Starter and there were these Huge clumps and when I broke it, it was black inside. Did anyone else have this problem? Or was I the only lucky one? Just curious.

The bag got wet somehow, whether in your feed shed or on the pallet on the way to us, who knows.

I had that happen once when it rained and there was a bag in the bag of my feed shed up against the back wall and it dribbled down and got wet too.

Don't feed that part, but the rest is safe.

Oh Nancy, no need to bring the GIANT crate. I found someone willing to lend me their pick-up truck with a camper shell.

Cari, It was weird. No way it could have happened here. It was the last bag on a flat bed dolley, it is raised up. And in the garage. I do not see water stains on it at ALL. I did not see it til the bottom anyways so most was fed to them already. They seem fine. I was just talking under my breath, if it is not dust it is black stuff. Ugh......... Good thing it was only 1 bag so it was not widespread.

Thats the best way.... Though I too want an old horse trailer just for my goats to live in. to get out of the weather and turn the area under the manger into a goat feeder. to keep the hay dry.

MEET-UP March 31ST from 10AM till the cows come home.

PLACE: NEIL SNIPES PARK on the corner of 5th and Hamer [the entrance to the park is on 5th]

WHAT TO BRING: There is a gazebo with picnic tables...bring a lunch&drinks for yourself. extra table and chairs if you think you need em [like if you have things to sell]
most importantly-BOXES LOTS OF BOXES for all the birdies you will be purchasing!
You can bring your favorite bird/s if ya like The only request I have is IF you want to bring your doggie, he/she HAS TO BE on a leash..some birdies are terrified of dogs LOL
