San Diego County, CA R U There?

Well, I am hanging out at 6th grade camp this week near Santa Ysabel, we teachers have made some trips into Julian and Santa Ysabel during the week. BarBQue and talent show tonight and then headed back home tomorrow. It has been just beautiful up here this week.

Is Dudley's still out in Santa Ysabel? That was always a stop we made when I was younger (1970s) while out on family trips. Their bread was to die for... drool.

:aww Terrie... I know how you feel. I remember before Parkway Plaza went in. It's crazy how it all grew up. I don't even recognize it anymore.
I always go to the General Store in Julian for a chocolate malted. Again, drool. I have family in Oregon City, too...

Hello. I was born and raised in San Diego. I love it and miss it oh soooo much. I moved to Cedar Creek Texas, By Austin 2 yrs ago. I lived in El Cajon. Being a city girl, this is my first time raising chickens. I have 4 Americanas hens. Boy these girls are really spoiled. They are 5 months old and are huge. I got my first eggs about a week or 2 ago. It's so neat, when they see me or my family walking up to their pen, they run right to us and start to cluck. Y'all take care in San Diego, My home sweet Home.
