Grew up in Lakeside, married and moved to Corona. Moved back to El Cajon and then to the east coast. Miss family and friend, but nothing else. My favorite place is Julian during apple days and La Jolla and the tide pools, good mexican food and In n Out!

You all are making me homesick!
I grew up in El Cajon when it was a small town and Santa Claus came around to all the cop's houses in a patrol car. I always know the reindeer thing was made up.

Where Parkway Plaza now sits, there used to be the ultimate tadpole catching area and my grama owned 2 acres in El Cajon at Lexington and Mollison, where those 3 story apartments are. Lexington didn't go through then. A sweet little old lady lived in a house there and gave us sweet pea flowers. I have family in San Marcos and El Cajon still.
I have lived in Poway, Lakeside and Victorville. I hung out at La Jolla Shores and had membership with the Zoological Society and spent most of my days off there at the zoo or wild animal park. Julian was the best place to go in autumn for a slice of hot apple pie with melting cheddar cheese on it.
