Sand as bedding???

My mum is saying she’s seeing goose owners use sand as bedding but I’m not sure, what do you guys think?? She wants to switch to it because apparently it’s easier to clean but I didnt mind shovelling out their poop all the time

I have a very large pen and use sand for the whole pen. It has to be replaced so I just top it off a couple of times a year and that seems to work well. It is heavy though and can be costly. I have never had any feet problems however so for me it is worth it. I would give it a try to see if it is easier to take care of if it were me. Good luck with your decision.

if I could use sand, I would. I think you should go for it.
