Sand Experts - Advice PLEASE

Hey folks - I found a 55 gal trash can filled with fine sand for sand blasting. As in stained glass sand blasting. My hubby thinks it is coarse. I think it's fine. I'm pretty sure coarse would be for wood sand blasting and fine for glass. We got it several years ago. I remember us going to the block/masonry supply place to get it and them not having the fine fine sand I needed. So we got the finest they had, as I recall. My question is --- Is this sand too fine for use in the coop? Is there a sand that is too fine??

If it's been USED on stained glass assemblies, there is a HIGH probability it contains a lot of toxic lead dust​
