Sand hill preservation

I have a question , this is my first time ordering from sand hill, i sent form with the payment i ordered 10 scott dumpy, 5 mottled java, 5 exchequer leghorn, 5 black minorca, i just want to know if sand hill sends a email saying that they accepted the order , or i just have to wait to my shipping day and they will let me know . I order for 2017

They will not contact you to let you know they got your payment and have accepted your order.
They will contact you by letter when they have a ship date and call the day they ship.
Ive ordered twice this year from them. First time i recieved my letter three weeks after i sent my order and chicks were shipped the following week.
Second time was four months ago and still no letter. I did email with no response until finally in october they emailed back saying no chicks would be available this season and asked if i wanted payment returned or left on books for a spring shipment.
I replied for them to keep my payment and asked if i could swap a few chicks for a different breed that wasnt available at the time but surely would be if i ordered now for nezt year.
Three weeks later still no response.
