That is FANTASTIC NEWS! I'm going to be blogging about that! That's just fantastic.. that means the packaging in cartons CAN work, and that my blue roos was a very busy boy!

I have him for sale right now on Craigslist with 5 SLWs, making room for the new ones coming in this year.

I saw that earlier today Dawn when I was browsing Craigslist. I was tempted but hubby hasn't built my coop yet. We're headed down to NC to pick up a one legged abused parrot tomorrow.

Ricky Rooster is roosting in the garage/barn. LOL

Hubby wants some Gold Laced Wyandottes so I'm on the hunt for them.

Good luck with your new chicks coming, Dawn!!

Ah.. you don't really need a coop if you have a barn! Just a roost for them for which they will find their own!

Bummer, right now I have only 1 extra Gold Lace hen... and 2 australorps if someone REALLY wanted them.

I'll have really nice GLW hens in the fall if you don't get around to it until then.

I'm also trying to sell my favorite guy Wattles & 4 Buff Orp hens with him. Wish me luck!

THANKS FOR THE LUCK! I Can't WAIT to get them!!!! By fall I'll have this lovely setup of blue, black, white & buff orps and I just can't wait.. they are all SO PRETTY!!!!

Do you mind if I give you a call either Sunday or Monday about your Buff Orps?

Not at all! Feel free to give me a call, I may be out most of Monday daytime though.. so evening on Mon is best. Good luck with the rescue, good on you for doing that!

I just told him! He's jumping for joy! If you have more GLW in the fall, we'll get them from you. I'll probably give you a call Monday night because I'll be recouperating on Sunday from the trip to NC. LOL

I've been involved with parrots and parrot rescue for about 30 years now.

I have to tell you Dawn, I love your website. Oh and I found your email back to me in my spam folder this afternoon. Darn AOL! LOL

Okay this time I AM headed to bed......(so she says) LOL

Night Dawn

Dawn I ordered the orpingtons from Sandhill last spring. If you remember it was a very cold winter for the midwest. We got our order in April and lost ( out of 25. They did make good and sent another order. I didn't order white orps but somehow I got a pair of them My Casper is a beautiful large rooster and his lady Isis is just as nice. The only problem I have with him is he is the meanest roo I have. He will attack the side of his pen when you walk by. I don't go into his pen without a large net because he will and has attacked me many times. Now I call him the white devil and we go round and round twice a day. If he wasn't so beautiful I'd get rid of him but I am patiently waiting for his sons and daughters, hopefully they will be just as good looking. I also got buff orps in the second order Most of them were roos but when I sold them noone could believe they were hatchery birds. They were so big and beautiful. The first thing the man said was they sure aren't from McMurray lol Good luck with your order. Ordering from Sandhill is not for the faint hearted as you wait and wait but I think its worth it.
