I must admit that I have never heard condiments referred to in this manner before now.
I have, but usually not a condiment like ketchup. Can you imagine being at a backyard grill and asking someone to pass you the food lube and pointing at mayonnaise for your burger? Or the spicy food lube when you want hot sauce for your eggs? Usually, food lube refers to an oil, which mayo does have, but it's not quite the same.

Hey, the ketchup helps the french fries slide down, same as Mayo but a different color and flavor🤷🏻‍♀️
