yummmmm....this post is making me hungry!

One of my favorite sandwiches is cheddar cheese and homemade jam.

Grand Central Bakery here has a fresh turkey sandwich with cranberry chutney on their rustic como bread with mayo, lettuce and a slice of havarti cheese. To complete the meal you must get the triple chocolate cookie.

Oh and look at that...it's noon...time for lunch!

I'm not eating meat right now but when I did:

Liverwurst on Pepperidge Farm white bread with lots of real mayo and nothing else.
Ham and swiss with yellow mustard and romaine lettuce
Tuna on wheat with potato chips and dill picles

Now:
Peanut Butter and grape jelly on pumpernickle
Hummus, cukes and sprouts on a spinach wrap with kalamata olives

How about Campbell's Bean with Bacon Soup, spread on some white or wheat bread with a little butter! Yummy!!

Hey, my Dad used to make me that!! But the bread had to be toasted. Funny I hadn't thought of that in years, but I loved it.

Are you PA Dutch, by chance??

I did NOT love limburger cheese and butter sandwiches on white bread--Dad's other favorite!!

Never tried it toasted, I'll have to give that a try next time! Nope, not PA Dutch. I thought I'd be the only one with that kind of sandwich though. The limburger doesn't sound good at all.

Ugh. We have nothing to make a good sandwich with...maybe I can talk mom into going to Roly Poly!

I like a good turkey sandwich on white, with american cheese and lots of mayo.
