Good Morning Everyone!!!!
Thank you all so much for the votes. WRAL called me yesterday afternoon and said they were getting a lot of hits. This keeps them interested in the story and creates longevity. Speaking of which we were in the newspaper again today (this makes one full week of being in it everyday) both with a letter to the editor and a staff update on my appeal.

I ask for a research favor: When I spoke with code enforcement 3 months ago I believe he told me the oldest code book he had in his office was from either 1965 or 1970 and the ordinance was on the books then. Someone on one of the WRAL comments said the ordinance was put on in 1997. Linwood Mann, councilman, has been quoted in the newspaper as saying "The ordinance was well-thought over and had many people discussing it when it was passed, and it was a unanimous decision." I want to know what the truth is. If it was passed a long time ago that supports my case that it needs to be reviewed. If Mr. Mann is talking out of his flock I want to bring it to the medias attention.

I just re-voted too! We should keep this up as long as we can. I really hate that these city ordinances are so one sided.

I wonder why they restarted the poll?

It doesn't matter, it is still at the top of the list. With all this interest in the chicken article, it should encourage both the Sanford Herald and WRAL to spin the articles in the family's favor and against the city council. We all know how the news loves to put spins on their stuff. LOL
