Santa came early to see me!

Santa loves me! What can I say? LOL

Cyn, it goes with quilting quite well. Wool not good enough to spin can be made into quilt batting. LOL

Angie, did you see the post about using wool as insulation for chicken coops? I think English Chick wrote about it. Yet another use for the left overs.

I am wondering if I could use our Icelandic Horse's hair to insulate the next coop project. He's easily as wooly as a sheep!

My ram skin is at the taxidermists. It won't be ready before April.

BeardedChick - won't that give mice a place to make an insulated home? *shiver*

Well I think this must be the most perfect present for you...

So very pleased for you, wonderful.

One present that will be extremely well used. Brilliant.

I would have thought so... However, I stored a bag of horse mane hair in a shed in a Walmart bag tied shut - someone said they wanted it for doll making but they never picked it up - and when I finally threw it away I was suprised to find the mice had *not* been in it.

I would think in a closed up wall it would be OK.

Very nice present!! I'll have to post a pic of DH Great-Grandmothers wool woven blanket she did long long ago. They had their own sheep, sheared them and spun wool to make coverlets for their beds.
