First time chicken owner and bought sapphire gems, barred rocks, and cinnamon queens at runnings. They're 14 wks. Once the gems got older, I started getting skeptical. I got 6 barred rocks and 4 gems. They were almost identical as chicks. They now almost look the same except the gems have crests. Guess I don't really care as long as they lay. Just curious. They don't look like the gems on Google. Any ideas?
