It just depends on what breeds were used to make them. That one likely has legbar in its background
Thank you! That makes sense as to their coloring being slightly different as well. We bought them together so we assumed they had the same background.That's known as a crest. Tufts are at the ear lob section just above where muffs would be on a bearded bird.
Olive Eggers are hybrids and variations being seen are the norm not the exception..
