I bought two Sapphire Sky Premium Pullets from TSC and I’m thinking one might be a male? I can’t find hardly any info on this breed but I did see somewhere that both male and females can have barred feathers? Only one has a barred look and a very big comb compared to the other one that’s the same age. Is there still a chance it’s female or am I correct on one of each? If so I’ll just sell them as a pair but was really hoping for females 😩😩

Thinking this one is female. I heard combs can grow in faster but this one has a much smaller comb than it’s sibling

This one I’m thinking might be male. Bigger comb, much darker and looks like it’s getting barring?

I think these are 3-4 weeks old I know it’s early but I’d rather not waste anymore time if I have a pair I can sell.

I don't know about this breed but unfortunately I'm gonna tell you to wait another week 😭. If the males on this breed have barring then I believe the second chick is a male but the barring so far isn't confirmed.
Sapphire gem roosters have barring I was told this breed both genders can have barring so I’m not sure a lady who has these said both are female I’m just not too sure

I have 5 sapphire sky pullets that are 21 weeks old now. Some have subtle barring some don't, and they are various shades of gray. Their combs have all had variation of size since they were young. They are now 21 weeks old and all laying different green eggs. Based on how yours look they could both be pullets, but give it a few more weeks. Here are two of mine. The others were and about in the yard doing their chicken thing.
