Sassy chicken body slams me when I enter coop!

When we discipline our birds, we are careful not to inflict any pain or harm. There is a distinction between discipline and punishment. We do not punish. We discipline.
Hmm..Only Bird I have ever had to punish was Ron a Polish Rooster that attacked me...Kicked him right out the pop door.. he was vicious...

Hi, I used to have a girl like that, I think its just " what time do you call this?" Take some treats in your pocket and give hers 1st, see what happens!
It is never a good idea to reward bad behavior.

If you hand feed or treat them with stuff other than feed?.
Of course they get pushy..:th
I do not hand feed, as a general rule. Scraps are dumped in a specific bucket and they have to behave if they want them. No pushy birds.
First year pullets (especially sex links) take a while to learn but they do. Ever seen chickens peck each other? Short, sharp, and done. I mirror that with corrections—they understand and respond appropriately. I do not abuse my birds, nor do I reward bad behaviour. I do not want chickens flying up by my face.
