Sattinette Pigeons

I feed mine the same mix and same amount as my others. One tablespoon per bird. During the winter or breeding it can be doubled once or both times a day.

Sorry, what mix... I forget easily!!

I feed my birds Brown's pigeon feed. Usually either Breeder, Developer, Conditioner, or International mixes. Just depends on how much protien they need or don't need, and how much money I have

They make most of their mixes with either popcorn or small regular corn. I try to get all of mine with popcorn because my birds seem to like it more. Probably because it isn't so large and awkward shaped.

Thanks!!
Is it best to keep them in pairs?
Will they hatch their own?
Will they lay an egg every day?

It is best to keep them in pairs. They will hatch their own, you do not want to hatch eggs because you have to bottle feed. They will not lay an egg every day, but will lay fairly well.

They will lay two eggs, one after the other, incubate for 18 days, feed the babies for about a month, and then they will be weaned and more eggs will come.
