I'm new to owning chickens and I'm really excited to chat with ya'll as I wait for my order to ship. During tumultuous times I always decide to double down on my prep work.
Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm new to chickens! I've wanted to have them for awhile and husband finally said yes!
How many chickens do you have right now?
Just placed my order for 5 golden comets, 6 barred rocks, and 6 rhode island reds. We will see how many make it.
What breeds do you have?
Oops... see above.
What are some of your other hobbies?
Riding horses and playing D&D.
Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've got a mini zoo but I'm sure I'm not alone here. I have 3 pit bulls, 2 bengal cats, a leopard gecko, a daughter and husband. New mom so I'm still just figure this out.
I'm growing my own mini farm in my residential area. Rabbits are next and I'm already growing a garden for family and flock.
