Glad to meet you, Brady, Janet and Jaxson! I am confused. Do you have the duckling hatched or just the egg? If the egg is what you have, you will get answers from the candling and incubation/hatching forum. First check with a bright light behind the egg to see if there is a viable bird in there. If so, then move ahead with incubation.
If you have the duckling already hatched, then, yes, you need to get that little guy some friends, and all sorts of duckling stuff. (hint on the forums, look at the STICKY TOPICs first)
