Okay- I wasn’t really prepared to eat them, but my 15 pullets turned 21 weeks old and no eggs in sight.....

UNTIL TODAY!

“Nicey”, a Black Sex Link laid her first egg and when I checked the nest boxes and saw it I broke out into a happy dance!!

It’s the cutest, most inconspicuous egg you ever did see and I had an entire photo shoot to commemorate the moment. THIS IS A GREAT DAY
