Saved some ducks, have a few questions.

Do you have any recommendations for feed? I'm really clueless about what is available for them. They're on a standard "Duck Start" from the feed store now, I know they are too old for it, but thought it would help them get vitamins and gain weight.

Game bird and turkey... purina flock raiser... nature wise all flock... I think manna pro puts one out to.
Perfect, I'll call around and see what's available. I have a couple feed stores nearby, but they weren't much help to begin with. They are close to out of food (they eat like pigs), so I can pick some more appropriate food up today.

Also...one woke up with a "scratch" on his beak, it's kind of like a rub sore. The outer layer of his beak is peeled up a bit and it's pink underneath. It's a small spot right in the middle of his beak below his nostrils. I'll try to get a pic but so far he's been uncooperative. They've been in the same kennel overnight since we got them, so I have no idea what could have happened. Should I be worried?

Little monsters they are ;). When you do get feed the back of the bag should mention ducks. I'm surprised at how many people at stores are just uneducated about feeds... just gotta teach your self :).

Here we go, got it finally. I don't know how he hurt himself :-(

Also, I'm really just amazed by the size of this guy! He's the one a bit over 4lbs, but he's got so many downy baby feathers still. His head and beak don't even fit in my hand...he's going to be a giant!

Looks like he may have rubbed it on something. antibiotic ointment with out pain relief would be fine to use. or Nu stock. During molt and winter months I do sprinkle dog kibble crushed up over top of my flocks feed a couple times a week for extra protein. I feed Taste of the Wild and Diamond some use cat kibble. I think just giving them appropriate feed for their age will get them going in the healthy way it's going to take time but you have already done so much for them.
