Saving baby Morning Doves

Doves are very similiar to Quail (same family).
Game bird (unmedicated) starter then food should work fine for them.
The idea of a baby parrot suppliment offered by others here is good to.

Many people keep doves as domesticated pets. They should do fine.

I wouldn't release them though. Once you get them used to the good
stuff you are stuck with them. All you need is a little guinea pig cage.

Nice job.

That is just wrong. How could you be so insensitive to the people
here with high cholesterol who can't eat bacon. Those people will
need to sprinkle a little crushed pepper and cook until a golden
brown.

In the north most people don't even know you can eat a dove.

totally something my husband would say.. LOL

When my grandmother talks of the 'good old days' she talks of what good eatin' the pigeons were in Russia...

They seem to be doing well. They have feathered out more in a day. But my only concern is that I don't know for sure if they are eating/drinking. They freak out if I hold them so hand feeding is nearly impossible. I have food and water for them and put them by it several times.

Yes, my DH already told me if they live, I can keep them. Yeah!
