I want to save some of my pullets first eggs and some pretty eggs from my other girls. How do I do this? I have heard of blowing them out and drying them. Which do you do/prefer and how do you do it?

I tryed blowing some eggs and never had a good out come. Saw on here where someone said they leave them alone and they, the eggs, dry up. I tryed it with a few egg fart eggs and a really big egg and it work fine. There was no smell that you think of with an old or rotten egg. I just left them in a dish on the shelf

Check out the blue egg/brown egg post. Lots of great information on blowing out and saving eggs.

I've got a couple of fart eggs that have set up in my china cupboard for almost 2 years. They have completely dried out. It's like there is a little ball in the inside of them now.
