It's for a movie, and it's been done before, city of ember,deep impact, the fallout videogames, and others have all used the "the end is upon us and we need to go into vaults to save the last of humanity" plot.
Frankly I think fallout did it better, but I like my distruction with a side of cheese.

Adam and I saw this commercial as well. I laughed but he didn't know what to think! He thought is was some crackpot commercial and was totally serious. I grinned and looked at him, he asked "What was that?" and I said it was a MOVIE TRAILER! He then asked how I knew and I told him that the end of it flashed "This film is not yet rated". He then got a good laugh out of it.

That commercial is going to creep people out!

I've heard so much crap about this... supposedly this one guy has predicted the world is going to end in 2012.... I forget his name and where I saw it or if a friend sent it to me. The same happens in the movie Knowing kind of... only the world ends in 2008

because of a giant solar flare... I think it's a bunch of bogus. If we die, we die. I also think that the global warming stuff is just a bunch of phooey. And IF the world were going to end in 2012.. I would be kind of sad since that's only a year after I graduate from high school

The theory of 2012 is not that the world is going to end folks.....it means a very above normal prediction of massive earthqakes a such.....we aren't going to be totally wiped out..

When dealing with mother nature, you should always be prepared for survival no matter what.

BTW we are putting in a storm/root cellar and are stocking it with supplies(not to do with 2012-just storms in general!) I also believe in being prepared!

Still not sure how to quote the folks above me.. but, I agree with
Chicks-n-Horses!
Can't compete with Ms. Mother Herself!.. so, to be prepared is the best thing we all can do.
But still...
