Anyone notice "oil treated"? The spool itself looks like it was coated with used motor oil. I find on the Craigslist around here that most of these so called coop builders don't own/never have owned chickens and know absolutely nothing as to their housing needs.

I like the general idea... but find his specifics laughable. I had a 300sqft run for 6 chickens and have just extended it by 100sqft because by the end of this week I will have 15. I dont' believe in crowding LOL
