I got my first Saxony duck last weekend, and she has graced me with 3 eggs so far: the first one I dropped (dog got scrambled eggs in her dinner that night), the second one she ate

, and the third one is in my fridge! This will be my first duck egg--ever!
I read that the Saxony breed has Khaki Campbell in their background, and that the earlier KC's had blue eggs. So how common is it for the Saxonies to lay green eggs? I think they are just beautiful! What a wonderful surprise and addition to my green egg-laying flock of EE's!
Duck egg is on far upper right.

Also, other than Cayugas, what other breeds lay colored eggs?
