SBFChickenGirl's Bielefelder Hatch A Long!

Omg that is sooo same with me :gig. I always try to set a schedule but sometimes I can’t help it and candle on day 4-5 to see if there’s a lil heartbeat. During lockdown I go crazy cuz I can’t candle anymore but I’m won If they’ve internationally pipped
Lol! I candle all the time. You can candle during lockdown. :idunno
Also, if you candle on day 2 (for chickens) you'll be able to see some development. There's a tiny white ring visible (the blastoderm). For most things I candle all eggs every other day, and check problem eggs daily. I don't lockdown until I have at least one internal pip. During the last three days I candle multiple times each day to watch for the internal pip. Once I see one I up humidity to 75% and wait. Then I candle the ones that haven't pipped yet throughout hatch day, and sometimes assist. I'm very hands on usually, and it helps my hatch rate a lot. I have never had a hatch rate below 90%, even with shipped eggs.

Egg!!!!
I couldn't find a black and white filter on my phone, and my phone is absolute junk for 'in the dark' pictures. So you'll have to believe me when I say I saw the little eye developing :)

This is the one I am not sure about. It seemed half light and half dark....

My Farm Innovators bator. :sick
Right now display reads 103 Degrees F, 23%.
Thermometer/hydrometer (which I just calibrated to my NR360 temps) 30% and 90 degrees F.
The only reason I am using it is because I don't have a second NR360, and need to get d'Uccle eggs in.
The d'Uccle eggs will be exactly a week behind the biels and so I'll be able to use the NR360 for lockdown!!

I've got 21 d'Uccle and d'Anver eggs.

Okay, I'm having a little problem.
I'm absolutely impatient.

Well, that's not my current problem, but it is one XD

My FI bator is being a punk. I've calibrated the thermometer. Temp reads 102, and humidity 40%.
I've got the little red plugs open, to get temp down, and have even opened the lid, but the temps stay where they are. But I need to have the plugs closed to get humidity up.
So I don't know what to do.
There are no eggs in the incubator at the moment.

So is 102 too high? (I know the answer is probably yes)
How can I get it to go down?
It's weird because last time I had a problem with keeping the temperature up.... *sigh* I just need a NR360 XD

@CluckNDoodle I know you're good at hatching... and have the NR360. Any ideas?

Okay, so I'm kind of an idiot. :gig
I forgot that the temperature gage on the top of the bator not only measures temperature, but also controls the heater in the bator.
So I adjusted it.
It's down now XD
Haven't put the eggs in, because I'm waiting for the humidity to stabilize, but those eggs are going in tonight if it's the last thing I do LOL.
